Yesterday was a good challenge. 100 reps 24+24 jerk, 5 ‘ rack hold and 5 sets of 6 squats.
I managers 4 sets of 10, 2 minutes each 5 rpm, 2 ‘ rest in between. Started to feel a tweak in my left shoulder so I transitioned to 1 ‘ sets 1′ rest 5 rpm. Completed the remaining 12 sets on time. Found my self really focusing on technique, driving with my legs as opposed to lifting the bells with my arms. Leg drive after the first dip triple extension and quick to second dip,is key. Mental cues are deep second dip and quick to the heels. It’s effortless when the a wave begins at my hips and rolls thru my shoulders and at just the right moment my hips shift back and down….BOOM!
5 minute rack hold went well, trying to keep legs straight and relaxing and breathing is key
Did squats using 185#/84kg.
Did quite a bit of stretching afterwards.
Still working thru some issues in my right hip/lower back. Really tight since Monday’s 10 sets of LC with 24s
Today is recovery. I’ll do an hour and a half road ride. Should be a beautiful day.
